Frequently Asked Questions
We often can get your disinfection done as soon as possible, We try our best to accommodate your situation and will often be able to schedule within a 8-10 hour window.
After we spray our antimicrobial protection, we recommend giving an hour to allow the product to fully dry and cure on the surfaces. Once dry there is virtually no smell and the surfaces are safe to touch and resume normal activities.
While you are able to be present during the service, we prefer to have the area cleared while we spray. If someone has to be present while we are spraying, then they will be required to wear the proper PPE.
Disinfectant is only good while it is wet. Once it has dried on the surface it is no longer active. The surfaces will be free of germs and contaminations but as soon as a person or animal enters the area the room or surfaces can be compromised again. This is why we strongly recommend applying our 90-day antimicrobial protection. This protection is applied to a disinfected surface and will continue to destroy microorganisms on the surface 24/7.
Our Disinfection service ranges from 20-40 minutes per 1,000 sq ft.
For an average room (sized 250 square feet) it ranges between 1-3 hours to clean. This number varies on many different factors like the size of the tile, the amount of soil in the grout lines, and furniture to be moved.
Sometimes the surface looks clean but it contains unseen filth that not only affects the brightness of the floor but can also lead to grout cleaning and maintenance problems. Tile and grout cleaning becomes more difficult and challenging the longer the floor is neglected. A professional tile and grout cleaning will help remove the deep down dirt and grease that also causes slip falls.
It is recommended that you use a neutral cleaner to clean your tile and grout. Rinsing and mopping will continue to help the maintenance of your floor. You should try to avoid using bleach and other harsh chemicals as they will wear away the sealant and cause your grout to break down prematurely.
Cleaning upholstery can change greatly based on the fabric. Before you clean make sure you check the manufacturer’s cleaning instructions. Typically, a tag on the furniture piece will tell you if and how it should be cleaned. Look for these 4 letters as a reference:
W – You can clean this material using water
S – No water should be used to clean this piece, instead you will need a special solvent based cleaner
WS – you can use water or a solvent based cleaner on this furniture.
X – Should be dry vacuumed only
Manufacturers recommend cleaning your furniture every 12-24 months. This can also vary depending on your living situation like having pets, children, accidental spills, and allergies.
Your specific upholstery fabric will determine which cleaning method we use. The dry times will also vary depending on if you chose the optional protector application. Typical drying time ranges between 2-8 hours. Check out our speed drying option to get your priority pieces dried faster.
On average, the cleaning process will take approximately 20 minutes per room. This time can vary greatly depending on the many different factors like how soiled the carpet is.
As the carpet dries, these bubbles or ripples should start to lay flat again. Once it is dry they should be virtually unnoticeable. This is usually a sign that the carpet was in need of re-stretching prior to the carpet cleaning. If you are at all concerned you can always reach us at (732) 968-6788
Dry time is affected by humidity, temperature and air flow to the area. It can take anywhere between 8-24 hours for the carpet to completely dry, depending on the aforementioned variables. Using fans in any rooms cleaned and turning your air conditioning or heating system on, depending on the time of year, can help accelerate drying time. Be sure to leave the protective blocks under furniture legs and any paper used with upholstered items in place until the carpet and/or furniture is completely dry to avoid any color transfer. You may walk on your carpet immediately after cleaning, but avoid wearing street shoes, as they may re-soil your carpet. We suggest wearing clean rubber soled shoes. Be especially careful when walking from damp, carpeted areas on to non-carpeted areas to avoid slipping.
Yes. There is no charge to move furniture and we are professionally trained to move your furniture.
